Absolutely, we want our clients to form their own opinion of our work. You need to feel comfortable with us to get the best images.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Clarenville and Surrounding areas. We will go pretty much anywhere on the Island with a travel fee.

Do you charge extra for Black ad White photographs?

Yes, there is a 20% charge. Shooting digitally allows us to create a whole host of images enhancements. Everything is shot in color, we can then apply black and white sepia or even just color one item in a photograph – the possibilities are endless.

What style of photography do you shoot?

We mix a variety of styles, depending on the client and the event. Photojournalistic is a popular style and it involves staying in the background and recording the candid moments of the day.

This style is a very simple yet flattering way to capture special events. Another style is the more traditional posed shots. We shoot these in such a way that they look very natural – not always posed. No matter what style you prefer – you are sure to be satisfied with the end result!

Is film better than digital?

There has now been great strides made with professional digital photography. The latest digital SLRS combined with high quality lenses (and a good photographer) can produce stunning images. Today you cannot tell the difference between film and digital – even at large print sizes. Virtually all mass produced images now use digital photography.

What tips can you offer when we come to our photo shoot?

When dressing for your photo shoot, try to keep things simple. Bold prints do not photograph great as it draws attention away from the subject – you! Family shots are flattering when everyone keeps their style simple. Individual shots create a personal touch when you include things important to you such as an instrument if you are a musician, or a sports item if you are an athlete – get the picture?

Babies are happiest when they are fed, dry and rested – please keep this in mind when bringing him/her to their session. Infant shots are best done in the first two weeks of life. Maternity shots are best in the range of 7 to 9 months.

Can I purchase a photo package?

Every sitting is unique, therefore it is difficult to design packages that will fit everyone’s individual needs, however, we do offer discounts on larger orders that are equivalent to package discounts.
